Grade Reps
This committee works to foster an environment of inclusivity to all students, parents and teachers in each classroom/grade, foster communication between teachers and families. and facilitate support to families outside of the classroom. Grade reps are a conduit for information between teachers, the PTO, and Chappell writ large.

Mutual Aid
This committee provides and aggregates resources and support to all members of the Chappell community in order to foster an inclusive, safe, and welcoming school environment.

World Culture Fair
This event—new for 2026—will highlight the multitude of cultures in our Chappell community through games, crafts, activities, and food. This committee organizes all aspects of the event, including soliciting ideas from the school community, organizing volunteers, setup, and teardown.

Teacher Appreciation
Each day of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8, 2026), the PTO coordinates teacher recognition. This committee plans and organizes the daily events.

Community Nights
This committee hosts monthly community game and activity nights at Chappell (usually on Sundays). PTO provides snacks and crafts, and we encourage families to bring their favorite games.

Field Day
Field day is held at the end of the school year and is a day of fun sports and games. The committee works with gym teacher Mr. G to organize volunteers.

Back to School Events
This committee hosts the Popsicle play dates for pre-K and K and organizes the Back to School Bash. The bulk of the work is done in the summer.

This committee chooses books for parents to read and meet to discuss, fostering community and support.
